Sågbäck High School is a municipal high school and adapted high school in Huddinge Municipality. We educate our students primarily within vocational programs and introductory programs. Here, students with different backgrounds, needs, and goals meet, which places high demands on collaboration, structure, and relationship-building work.

About the job

The assignment includes:

• Supporting students in their knowledge development and motivation to learn.
• Actively working with conflict management and contributing to a respectful climate, as well as participating in and developing the school's values work.
• Conducting individual and group conversations related to safety, study atmosphere, and school environment.
• Working closely with teaching staff, student health services, and school leadership.
• Contributing to increased attendance through work in the school's attendance team and being present throughout the school day – during lessons, breaks, and practical moments.
• Substituting for teachers when necessary.

The work is carried out both individually with students and together in work teams.

About you

We are looking for you who are an educated social pedagogue with documented experience of working in schools with young people aged 15–19. We also require good competence in conflict management and the psychosocial development of young people. You should also have experience of working with students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF) and have a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is an asset if you have experience of working within vocational programs or introductory programs.
